Information we collect

When you create an account, URLTracker stores your name, email address, password hash, workspace information, and authenticated session records. We do not store your plain-text password.

When someone visits a tracked link or loads a tracking pixel, we may process the visitor’s IP address, browser and device information, operating system, approximate location, language, referrer, UTM parameters, time of visit, and a privacy-preserving visitor identifier. IP addresses are encrypted at rest and are available only through the protected administrator interface.

How we use information

We use this information to operate tracked redirects, distinguish eligible human activity from automated traffic, provide analytics and conversion attribution, secure accounts, prevent abuse, diagnose reliability issues, and improve URLTracker.

Cookies and sessions

URLTracker uses a secure, HTTP-only session cookie to keep account holders signed in. The authentication cookie is not available to page scripts and is configured with browser security restrictions.

Service providers and disclosure

URLTracker runs on Cloudflare infrastructure. Information may be processed by infrastructure providers as necessary to deliver and protect the service. We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information when legally required or when necessary to protect users, the public, or the service.

Your responsibilities and choices

Account holders must use tracking lawfully, provide notices or obtain consent where required, and avoid placing tracking pixels or links where collection is prohibited. Precise browser GPS must only be requested with the visitor’s explicit permission.

Security and changes

We use technical safeguards including encrypted IP storage, password hashing, secure session cookies, workspace access controls, and HTTPS. No online service can guarantee absolute security. We may update this policy as URLTracker evolves and will revise the effective date when we do.
